Overview:

Accord Transportation Ltd. is seeking dedicated Long Haul Truck Drivers to join our team in Surrey, BC. As a key member of our transportation division, you will play a crucial role in the safe and efficient delivery of goods and materials across various routes. If you are a reliable and adaptable individual with a passion for driving, we encourage you to apply.

Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.

Experience: will train.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy.
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Perform brake adjustments and preventive maintenance.
  • Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption.
  • Maintain documentation, including the driver logbook, inspection reports, maintenance and repair reports, and trip reports.
  • Operate communication systems, including GPS and a trip recorder.
